Hammer Drill Can't Drill Concrete
What to do when your hammer drill won't work on concrete surfaces or works very slowly.
If your drill is powering up as usual, but you are having trouble penetrating materials, here are some suggested steps to take.
- Check that you are using a proper masonry drill bit.
- Check that your drill but is in good shape and is not dull or worn.
- Check to ensure the hammer function is engaged.
- Set the gear to 2nd (fastest) setting.
